YouTube visibility
Who owns YouTube on your keywords — and whether it is you

AI engines cite YouTube videos as sources remarkably often: the transcript gives them usable text, and the platform earns their trust. A well-placed video on one of your keywords is sometimes worth more than another article. The page sits in the External presence hub, alongside press, web mentions and Reddit.
What gets analyzed
- The project's first ten SEO keywords, exactly as entered in the settings.
- The top five YouTube videos for each of them.
- The search follows the project market (country and language): a French project's results are not a Canadian project's.
- Attribution is based on the title and the channel name: that is where the brand name is looked for.
Reading the table
- Two counters: Keywords analyzed and With one of your brand's videos — the second one is the real indicator.
- A green check or a cross per keyword tells you whether one of your videos made the top five.
- Click a row to unfold the five videos, with clickable titles, the channel and the view count.
- Videos are tagged your brand or with the name of the recognized competitor, showing at a glance who holds the ground.
Namesakes: a video that names you is not necessarily yours
A name on its own proves nothing. PivotSEO applies the same proof of identity used everywhere else in External presence: a video that mentions the name with nothing tying it to your client is flagged as « to verify », not counted as a win. On a brand with a common name, register at least one identity anchor in the Watch tab before reading this page.
The page stays empty?
With no SEO keyword set in the project settings, the page has nothing to search for, and says so. Results are then served from cache so the same query is not paid for repeatedly during the week; the Refresh button forces a new lookup. If the data provider refuses the request, its message is passed through as-is in a yellow banner.
