Definition

AI Share of Voice measures your percentage of mentions relative to all entities mentioned in your market. If out of 100 total mentions on your prompts, your brand appears 25 times, your SOV is 25%.

Interpretation

SOV > 50% with mostly positive sentiment: you dominate your market's narrative. Capitalize by publishing reference content.
High SOV but negative sentiment: potential crisis amplified by AIs (negative reviews, unfavorable media coverage). Respond, publish corrective content, contact sources.
Average SOV (20-40%): correct but improvable position. Identify prompts where you're absent via Mentions page and fill the gaps.
Low SOV (< 15%): insufficient visibility. Invest priority in content, digital PR, Wikipedia if eligible, and on-page GEO optimization.

Tip :Comparative analysis: use the time evolution chart to see if your SOV is progressing, stagnating or declining. A +5 point progression over 3 months is an excellent result.
