Your global GEO Score masks important disparities between engines. You can be dominant on Perplexity (which favors fresh web sources) while invisible on ChatGPT (which relies heavily on its training data and Wikipedia). This page exposes your performance per engine with recommendations specific to each.
Engine specifics
- ChatGPT (OpenAI): most used model worldwide. Relies heavily on Wikipedia, Reddit and training data up to April 2025. Strategy: get a Wikipedia page, be cited on Reddit, publish on authority media.
- Perplexity: « Google-like » engine — searches the web in real-time and cites sources. Favors fresh, well-structured sources. Strategy: publish up-to-date content with schema.org and FAQ on domains with good authority.
- Gemini (Google): Bard's heir. Relies on Google Search and the Google ecosystem (Knowledge Graph, YouTube, Maps for local). Strategy: classic SEO excellence + Google Business Profile + YouTube channel.
- Claude (Anthropic): assistant with broad training corpus, conservative in brand mentions (frequent refusal of explicit commercial recommendations). Strategy: be factually documented, with primary sources.
- Google AIO (AI Overviews): Google's AI responses shown above classic results. Directly derived from SEO positions. Strategy: stay in top 3 Google + structure content for featured snippets.
