AI analysis of the period
On every statistics page, Claude reads the period's figures shown by the page and suggests actions

On every statistics page that has a period bar, an AI analysis tab sits next to the Data tab. It follows the same period bar: the chosen period and its comparison. The open tab stays in the page address, so a shared link or a reload goes straight back to the analysis.
The pages that have their AI analysis
- Search Console, GA4, Bing and Local presence, the first ones to get it.
- Dashboard, Mentions, Sources, Responses, External presence (sector benchmark included), Keywords, Opportunities (cannibalization included), Content audits, Technical audit (Web Vitals included), Competition, Recommendations, Trends, Impact, Timeline, Matrix, AI Overview, AI engines and Rankings.
- App Stores, App Store listing, App Store keywords and App explorer.
- Local heatmap, Local competitors and Domain overview.
- Each analysis reads the figures its page shows for the period, nothing else: the Sources page's analysis talks about your sources, the Heatmap's about your grids.
- Pages with tabs (Mentions, Sources, Opportunities, Technical audit, External presence…) have a single analysis covering all their tabs.
- One more block depending on the theme, after Highlights, Concerns and Actions: AI visibility (Dashboard, Mentions, Sources, Responses, AI engines, AI Overview, Matrix, Trends), Competition (Rankings, Opportunities, Competition, Domain overview, App explorer), Local competition (Local heatmap, Local competitors, Local presence) and Google and AI (Search Console).
- Pages without a period bar (backlinks, keyword overview) have no AI analysis: there is no period to read.
What you get
- A cross-reading, backed by figures: Claude reads all the page's figures for the period and connects them. For example, a page gaining impressions but losing clicks (its title needs reviewing), or an AI share rising while clicks fall.
- A summary of up to 5 sentences.
- Three blocks of 4 to 6 points: Highlights, Concerns and Actions.
- Search Console: clicks, impressions, CTR and position, rising and declining queries and pages, opportunities. A fourth block, Google and AI, draws on the imported Generative AI report, the queries where your site is cited or not in AI answers, and the AI Overview.
- GA4: sessions (all channels and organic), engagement rate, conversions, pages that attract traffic without converting, sources and sessions coming from AI assistants.
- Bing: the period's clicks and impressions, Bing queries and queries seen only on Bing, compared with Search Console's.
- Local presence: a fourth block, Local competition, joins the other three. The analysis reads everything the page stores about your local presence (details below).
Local presence: what the analysis reads
- Google listing: impressions; actions (website clicks, calls, direction requests); mobile / desktop and Search / Maps split; action rate; best weekday; 13-month trend; posts and photos; the month's searches that surfaced the listing, and those that disappeared.
- Reviews: current state (rating and review count), reviews received during the period, rating breakdown, unanswered reviews, reply rate and median reply time, recent negative reviews, and the themes of the AI review summary already stored (it is not redone).
- Search analysis: share of brand, competitor and service searches, cities mentioned, « near me » searches.
- Directories: consistency of name, address, phone and website between your settings and the Google listing. This is the only check possible with the stored data: the analysis does not visit the directories themselves.
- Other listings of the project: the key figures of each additional listing.
- Nearby competitors in the same category: their rating, review count, reviews gained during the period and your rank among them.
- Local pack for your tracked keywords and heatmap grids: visibility, share of local voice (SoLV), average position and results by quadrant.
When it is generated, and what it costs
- Only on demand: click Generate the AI analysis. Allow 10 to 30 seconds, for about $0.02.
- No call to Google, Bing or DataForSEO: the analysis relies only on figures already stored in PivotSEO.
- No figures, no analysis: if the page has no stored figures for the period, generation is refused with a message explaining why (open the page or wait for the Sunday scan, then try again). Nothing is charged.
- It is kept: when you come back to the same period, the latest analysis shows, with its date, at no new cost.
- Regenerate creates a new analysis and never overwrites the previous one. If the period's figures have changed since, a notice invites you to regenerate it.
- Viewer role: a viewer sees the analyses already generated, but the Generate the AI analysis button is disabled for them (« Reserved for editors »).
History and comparison
- Analysis history, under the tab: reopen a past analysis, or remove it (× then confirm). A removed analysis stays stored, but is no longer shown or compared.
- Compare two analyses: the key figures with their change, both analyses side by side, and each action marked new, repeated or dropped. Handy to check whether an action recommended last month still applies.
- Comparing costs nothing: it rereads two analyses already stored.
AI analyses in your reports
- Custom report: tick the AI analyses of the period section, then choose the pages whose analysis should appear (by default, all those that have one).
- Which analysis is used: the one covering exactly the report's period; failing that, the closest one, shown with its own dates; otherwise, the page is marked « No analysis generated for this period ». Analyses removed from the history are never used.
- Building a report never generates an analysis: the report only reuses those already stored, so it costs nothing more.
- Generate the missing analyses (N): in the report builder, this button generates in one go the analyses missing for the report's period, page by page, with the estimated cost shown before you click (about $0.02 per analysis). It is not offered to viewers.
- Automatic post-scan report: it includes the section over the last 30 days as soon as analyses exist.
- Executive summary and weekly email: a What the AI analysis says paragraph (one sentence per page and three priority actions) appears, only if analyses exist.
- Shareable report link: tick Include the AI analyses of the period when creating the link so your client sees them. Links created before this option don't include them: create a new link.
- PDF and print: the section prints like the others, with the summary, highlights, concerns, actions and key figures.
Limits to know
- Only stored figures: the analysis fetches nothing new. A missing figure is never guessed.
- Rolling periods move every day: « last 28 days » no longer covers the same dates tomorrow. Yesterday's analysis therefore no longer matches the period shown; it moves to the history, where you can reopen or compare it.
- GA4: some blocks (sources and mediums, for instance) cover a rolling window read by the page, not the bar's exact dates. The analysis says so.
- Bing: queries are a roughly six-month total, because Bing doesn't date them. The analysis says so explicitly.
- Local presence: Google publishes the listing's figures with a delay of about 5 to 6 days, so the last days of the period are not known yet, and the analysis says so. The searches that surface the listing are given by month, not by day. The review total reflects the listing's current state.
