Google Search Console — enriched view

Clicks, impressions, positions, opportunities and GEO crossover

Page layout

  • At the top, a period summary: clicks, impressions, CTR and position compared with the bar's period, then your displays in Google's AI, your citation rate, your clicks to defend and the traffic value.
  • Classic Google search: charts, period comparison, winning and declining queries, opportunities.
  • Google and AI: the imported « Generative AI » report, and your clicks vs AI answers.
  • At the very bottom, the full query list, 50 rows per page, with a search and column sorting; the search and the sort stay applied when you change page.
  • Where the figures come from: cards and chart give the site total. Per-query tables add up the queries Google details, which leaves out anonymised queries: their total is therefore lower, and each table says so. All periods account for Google's two-day publication delay.
  • « N distinct queries out of 1,000 rows »: Google details traffic by query × page pair. A query leading to three pages takes three rows, so 1,000 rows hold fewer than 1,000 different queries, and the page shows both numbers.
  • Traffic value is computed on demand: it relies on your queries' cost per click, which is paid data. Click Compute the value; the result is then kept and shown with its date.
  • AI analysis tab: next to the Data tab, Claude reads the period's figures, cross-checks them and suggests actions, with a Google and AI block. See the article AI analysis of the period.

Differences from native Google interface

PivotSEO presents your GSC data from a different angle than the native interface. The goal isn't to reproduce what Google already does, but to add analytical value with systematic AI mention crossover, position range segmentation and optimization opportunity highlighting.

Exclusive enrichments

  • Position range analysis: how many clicks come from top 3, top 10, top 20 or beyond? Lets you identify where to invest (boosting pages in position 6-10 to top 3 has high ROI).
  • Opportunity detection: keywords with many impressions but few clicks. Usually signals degraded CTR (title and meta description to rework).
  • GEO crossover: each GSC keyword is enriched with its corresponding GEO Score. A keyword with 100 Google clicks but 0 AI mention is a strategic emergency.
  • Custom period filter: beyond native GSC's 3 months, you can analyze specific periods.
  • Orphan page detection: pages generating impressions but with no internal backlinks, sign of architecture needing improvement.
Tip :Sort by CTR: use decreasing sort on impressions column and « CTR < 2% » filter to isolate in seconds pages with the most improvement potential. Reworking title tags on these pages is often the highest-ROI SEO intervention.
