Searches that surfaced your listing

What people type when your listing shows up: brand, competitors, services, cities

Every month Google provides the list of queries that triggered your listing, with a rounded impression count (volumes under a threshold show as « < 15 »). This data is published with about a three-week delay: PivotSEO uses the latest complete month available and says so under the title. Months are archived scan after scan, which enables 12-month trends.

Nature of the searches

  • Brand: your name and its variants (typos, abbreviations) — people who already know you.
  • Competitor: the name of a project competitor — your listing appears when people look for them, a valuable signal.
  • Service: products, services, « near me » queries — genuine discovery.
  • Places: cities and neighborhoods detected in the queries, with the number of searches per place.

Cross-references in the table

  • 12 mo: sparkline of each query's evolution, with the « new » or « lost » tag.
  • Site (GSC): the same query on your website — position and clicks — to see whether listing and site work together.
  • Volume and share: local monthly volume (DataForSEO) and the share captured by the listing.
  • Tracked: the query is already one of your tracked keywords.
  • AI Overviews: queries that trigger an AI overview in Google, and whether you are cited in it.

Action buttons

  • Track: adds the query to your tracked keywords (positions, SERP, AIO).
  • Content: sends the query to the content queue with a suggested page (title and slug).
  • AI: turns the search into a prompt tracked in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini to check whether AI engines recommend you on that intent.

Listing only and site only

  • Listing only: queries that surface the listing but for which your site has no page. PivotSEO groups them by theme and suggests a page (type, title, slug, priority).
  • Site only: queries where your site ranks but the listing does not appear, with a geographic diagnosis (same city, service area, outside the area) and the action to take (category, service area, local page).

AI analysis and alerts

The AI analysis of the searches block crosses brand, competitors, cities, site and listing to produce insights and prioritized actions. Alerts flag a drop in brand searches, a rising competitor or a new city.

Tip :Page suggestions are filtered: a query without recognizable service vocabulary (typo, isolated name) is never proposed as a page to create.
